Anil Chopra has contributed to the music and media industry in India since decades. The Founding Director of AV-ICN Expo since 2019, has also created the AV-ICN Excellence Awards. He has also established India's own certification for AV specialists, the CAVS - Certified AV Specialist, which sounds the bugle for AV Integration, Communication, and Networking professionals’ knowledge criteria. Chopra edited and published India's first music industry magazine Playback and Fast Forward and was also a correspondent for Billboard for many years. He also founded India's only professional magazine on broadcast, pro video, and animation - Studio Systems, Other magazines he founded, edited, and published included Pro Sound Systems, Optical Disc Systems and Cinema Systems.
