Elite Screens, an innovative company that specialises in quality projection screens for
retailers
and integrators, introduced its groundbreaking new ceiling light rejecting projection material,
StarBright CLR 5, designed specifically for bottom-placed ultra-short throw (UST) projectors.
This
innovative material has the ability to reach larger screens sizes and is compatible with
roll-tension screen formats for added flexibility.
The StarBright CLR 5 material combats the washout effect typically experienced with matte white
surfaces by rejecting up to 80% of ambient light, offering superior image quality even in well-lit
environments. It provides enhanced brightness, color accuracy, and contrast, ensuring a vivid
viewing experience for both home theater and commercial applications. The light rejection technology
is ideal for ultra-short throw projectors, allowing users to enjoy large, bright images without the
hassle of excessive ambient light interference.
Now available in electric and fixed-frame formats, the StarBright CLR 5 supports screen sizes
ranging from 126" to 150" diagonal, enabling users to create large-scale, immersive viewing
experiences. With this new material, users can enjoy bright, sharp images, in a bigger footprint,
even in rooms with a good amount ambient light.
