NTECK SYSTEMS Brings Acroname’s USB-C Solutions to India

Featuring the USBExt3c, the industry’s first programmable, industrial-grade managed USB-C extender

In a significant development set to elevate the Indian AV-IT systems industry, Bengaluru-based NTECK SYSTEMS is expanding its AV-IT system solution portfolio by partnering with Boulder, Colorado-based Acroname. Through this partnership, NTECK SYSTEMS will bring Acroname’s solutions to the Indian market, including the USBExt3c, a programmable, industrial-grade high performance managed USB-C extender.

The USBExt3c functions as a complete, high-performance hub, featuring integrated bidirectional USB and power extension with automatic host switching from either end of the extension. By simplifying power and connectivity, the USBExt3c eliminates unnecessary deployment and operational complexities. Aimed at high-speed, low-latency applications, the USBExt3c promises to bring a reliable, robust and high-performance solution to rapidly expanding USB collaboration systems and spaces across India.

USBExt3c devices connect to each end of a CAT 6A cable and can interchangeably act as senders or receivers. Any port can be dynamically configured as upstream facing (UFP) to connect to a host or downstream facing (DFP) to connect to peripherals, which can connect to both extenders.

Local USB links of up to 10 Gbps and a 5 Gbps extension link over up to 100 m / 325 ft of Cat 6A cable provide flexible connectivity for 4K cameras and high bandwidth devices. Ports provide up to 60 W USB-PD shared output per device when powered over Cat cable and 90 W when locally powered.

USBExt3c uses HDBaseT-USB3 technology based on Valens VS6320 to provide USB 3.1, 2.0, and legacy 1.0 extension over standard category cable. Cameras up to 4K, DisplayLink, and both isochronous and bulk transfer modes are supported, in addition to direct connection to HDBaseT-USB3 cameras and devices.

“Acroname has carved its own niche across global markets, particularly in segments that rely and operate on low-latency, high-speed data networks,” said Nataraju, Founder & CEO of NTECK SYSTEMS. “As the Indian AV-IT SYSTEMS industry scales to new heights in building high-speed data network establishments, we believed it’s time we had an enterprise-grade solution in place,” he elaborated. “Acroname is exactly that.”

According to Nataraju, Acroname’s USBExt3c supports a wide range of applications- ranging from BYOM and BYOD workflows for high-end corporate AV conference room environments to high bandwidth 4K transmissions in live productions, broadcasting, and lecture halls or auditorium environments utilizing 4K PTZ camera systems. The system automatically switches room peripherals (cameras, speakerphones) between a dedicated room PC and a guest user's laptop, while also charging the guest's laptop.

In addition to the USBExt3c, Acroname’s portfolio includes industry leading USB-C hubs and switches, powered by the BrainStem platform. Acroname’s BrainStem features an embedded control system with APIs for C++ and Python, allowing deep, software-defined control of hardware environments.

“With the Indian AV-IT industry growing rapidly across corporate, education, and live production segments, we wanted to accelerate growth and better support customers with the right local presence,” said Jenn Ryan, Acroname Vice President of Sales. “We needed a reliable partner who possesses the experience, technical acumen, and market understanding to deliver our high-performance solutions across India. We found that partner in Nataraju and NTECK SYSTEMS, and we are confident this collaboration will set a new benchmark for USB connectivity in the market.”

Through this partnership, NTECKSYSTEMS will be distributing Acroname’s portfolio of USB solutions, in addition to the flagship USBExt3c.
