ETC Asia announced the promotion of Alva Wong to the position of General Manager of the company. Wong is a seasoned engineer with more than 20 years of working experience in the lighting industry. He graduated from the University of Leeds in the UK with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics and Electrical). He joined ETC Asia in 1999 as an electronic engineer, having previously worked at Strand Lighting for several years.
With the successful development of ETC Asia, Wong gradually took on more senior positions in the company. In 2012, Wong began serving as Project Department Manager, and later in 2015 and 2017, the Customer Service and Price and Quotation departments were added to the existing structure of the Project Department.
Wong has successfully supported several key projects, including Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore and the West Kowloon Cultural District - Xiqu Centre. His expertise and leadership played a vital role in the success of these projects.
