Erthpot's integration of conference rooms at BIS, New Delhi for seamless communication and networking

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), New Delhi, stands as the national standards body of India, setting benchmarks for quality, reliability, and innovation across industries. To upgrade its conference facilities, BIS wanted a modern and advanced audio and conferencing setup that could support high-level meetings, decision-making discussions, and collaborative sessions with precision and clarity. Erthpot, with its expertise in professional audio and digital processing solutions, was entrusted with the responsibility of designing and executing this project.
The project involved the development of two fully equipped conference rooms, each designed to deliver seamless communication and a professional meeting environment. Erthpot deployed a range of advanced audio and control systems to meet these requirements. 56 units of VI 60DB wired boundary microphones were installed to ensure consistent audio capture across all seating positions. These microphones provide excellent speech intelligibility, making every participant clearly audible.
To manage multiple microphone inputs and facilitate smooth discussions, three units of Keyer88 and four units of Keyer1616 digital processing and control systems were integrated. These keyers allow moderators to control which microphones are active, eliminating overlaps, reducing distractions, and maintaining orderly communication.
For high-quality audio output, 12 units of NEO 5 passive loudspeakers and NEO 5 IP loudspeakers were installed. The NEO 5 IP is designed with an IP65 protection factor, ensuring durability and reliable performance in outdoor or heavy-rain conditions, making the system future-ready for flexible usage. To provide additional amplification and versatile audio processing, four units of Mark PM 2404 BT amplifiers were deployed. Each amplifier delivers 240 W @ L100V or 160 W @ 4 Ohm and supports USB, SD/MMC, FM, and Bluetooth playback. With four zones and independent volume control, these amplifiers enhance sound coverage and flexibility for complex conference room layouts.
Erthpot’s installation emphasized not only innovative technology but also user experience and aesthetics. Careful placement of microphones, keyers, loudspeakers, and amplifiers ensured optimal coverage, easy access for users, and a visually cohesive environment. Participants can now engage in meetings with clarity, comfort, and confidence, without technical interruptions.
