Biamp, one of the leading providers of professional audiovisual solutions, announced significant expansions to Biamp Workplace, including new capabilities and an expanded list of Workplace ready solutions, further establishing the platform as the industry's most comprehensive cloud-based solution for managing AV environments throughout their complete lifecycle. The expansion delivers new deployment capabilities, enhanced device support, and advanced tools that empower enterprises to design, deploy, and optimise Biamp systems at scale and with unprecedented efficiency.

Enterprise-ready capabilities introduced with this expansion include:
- The new Workplace Tools desktop app supports the AV installer and relieves common pressures they face on-site during installation and commissioning. Workplace Tools enables local and remote device setup and management, automated device discovery, firmware management, device configuration, and access to an AI agent to help configure devices properly, streamlining deployment at scale. It supports local, remote, and hybrid device management, allowing users to work fully on-premises or integrate with Workplace cloud and enabling productive, consistent workflow with or without internet access for faster installation and commissioning.
- Expanded Workplace Command now supports Qt X Zone Control, which transforms Qt X sound masking from a monitoring-only system into a dynamic acoustic management platform. Qt X Zone Control brings real-time, remote adjustments to sound masking, background audio, and paging volume so that facility teams and integrators can remotely fine-tune zones, switch sources, and mute/unmute instantly eliminating costly site visits and optimising acoustic comfort across multiple locations.
- My Workplace is a new, dedicated location where users can deploy and pilot new Workplace features to eliminate risk of impacting live environments before rolling them out organisation wide. Within Personal Organisation, users can also save their designs from Workplace Designer.
- Enhanced Floor Plan View now enables the addition of non-Workplace assets such as printers, restrooms, and fire exits to the Workplace map, providing facility managers and AV technicians with a complete view of building infrastructure within a single platform. This comprehensive visibility enables more informed decision-making and streamlines coordination between AV systems and facility operations.
- The new Workplace Status Page delivers transparent, real-time visibility into the health of Biamp Workplace, so IT, AV, and facilities teams can monitor platform status, maintenance activity, and incident updates to reduce downtime and ensure smooth operations and faster decision-making across every deployment.
The latest Biamp Workplace enhancements include support for an expanded portfolio of Biamp solutions, such as EasyConnect MPX 250 and Biamp UC Compute platforms. In addition, the Biamp UC Compute can now act as a proxy to deliver Biamp USB peripherals, such as Parlé conferencing bars and Vidi conferencing cameras, into the Workplace monitoring suite. This broadened device compatibility ensures organizations can manage their entire Biamp ecosystem from a single, unified cloud platform. With these expanded capabilities, organisations gain unprecedented control over their AV infrastructure, from design and deployment through ongoing optimisation and support.
