Genelec’s To Launch Its Latest Loudspeakers, Subwoofers, Studio Monitors And More

S360 SAM Studio Monitor

Genelec, developer of high-quality home and AV install products, would be showcasing its star products the 4000 series and S360 SAM Studio Monitor along with its line of other latest products at AV Integrated Systems Expo in Hall 3 Booth No. A45.

4020 RAL

The 4000 series by Genelec has a compact and powerful two-way loudspeaker design, ideal for indoor commercial and professional installations. All models contain an integrated amplification unit comprising of an active electronic crossover. Overload protection circuitry and two power amplifiers - one for each driver. This design allows optimum performance out of the compact enclosure and seamless blending of the different drivers to bring you better imaging and accuracy. Precise Room Response Controls allows optimizing the loudspeaker’s response to suit different acoustical environments. Balanced 10 kOhm line level audio input with Phoenix connector make for easy and interference-resistant cabling. The models in the range feature the die-cast aluminum Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE), with relatively large internal volumes; softly curved edges and outstanding mechanical strength. The speaker cabinet offers over 120 RAL Classic Colors to choose from, enabling personalized and integrated speakers with the room aesthetically. A wide range of mounting options available for various types of installations.

8341 SAM Studio Monitor

The S360 and the 7382 Subwoofer are made to deliver the precision and sound quality you have come to expect from Genelec for any professional application that demands high acoustic power or listening at a distance; from large immersive setups in post-production studios or film mixing stages to play- live monitoring in music production or EDM playback. Housed in a compact, low diffraction enclosure with premium quality Finnish woodwork, the S360 features a further enhanced 10-inch high efficiency and minimal distortion woofer based on Genelec’s Master Series, and a completely integrated extended directivity control waveguide DCW, supporting its 1.7-inch titanium diaphragm compression tweeter. The result combines the neutrality for which Genelec is known, with a short-term SPL capability of 118 dB - with peaks even higher - and a long throw capability that can provide reference quality accuracy even at listening distances of over 10 metres (33 feet). The S360 offers excellent on-axis characteristics and uncolored 95-degree (h) to 75-degree (v) dispersion. Downfiring, flow optimized laminar integrated reflex ports LIP ensure tight and noise free bass output and are also perfectly suited for use with perforated screens. Alternatively, when the S360 is used in free-standing mode the innovative Iso- Plate effectively decouples the monitor from its base, focusing low frequency output while preventing vibration transfer and air turbulence. Further flexibility comes courtesy of the system electronics, which can be either integrated into the enclosure or positioned remotely. Genelec will also showcase its other products which include the SAM series of Studio Monitor and F one Active Subwoofer.
