Netflix Chooses Lumina Screens for the Premier of ‘Typewriter’

Lumina Screens a part of Galalite Screens, under GTC Industries, that manufactures projection screens for a wholesome viewing experience at home, corporate offices, or auditoriums, recently installed a video wall for the premier screening of ‘Typewriter’ Netflix is the major streaming option for home television audiences.
Netflix is one of the biggest names in entertainment, producing critically acclaimed TV shows as well as movies, and hosting original comedy specials. Netflix offers a wide range of content across every genre you can imagine.
Requirement:
The premier was handled by Fountainhead MKTG who then appointed Lumina screens for the screening. The brief given to Lumina screens was simple, they needed a screen that would not alter or enhance the original quality of the series or the projected image and have good acoustical transparency. They required a screen which had a unity gain (i.e. 1 gain) that will be acoustically transparent.
Solution:
Since the requirement of the client was very specific, Lumina screen used their most basic level screen that could fulfill the clients’ needs. They used a Matte white Micro Perforated screen. This screen had a unity gain which could be used with 4k projection. Micro perforations on the screen, allows the patron to get an immersive audio impact which replicates any cinema requirement. This Screen has perfect matte white diffusing surface that ensures extremely broad light dispersion and spectral uniformity. The surface diffuses projected light in all directions, so the image can be seen from any angle. They have used the same screen earlier for the premiere of Narcos 4 and got the best results which increased their confidence on Lumina screens and the product quality of Lumina screens.
