Exmel Electronics Pvt Ltd (EEPL) was established in year 2002 by technocrats from very reputed erstwhile PSU, Maharashtra Electronic Corporation Limited commonly recognised as MELTRON. This PSU was supplying professional Audio, Video, RF & Defence equipments to strategic Government Organisations. After the licence expiry of this PSU, it was absolutely necessary to fill in the void of needs regarding equipments, spares, services of the Government organisations namely, All India Radio, Doordarshan, Air Force, BARC & other private studios. With this view and objective to Supply, installation & maintenance of various equipments to these organisation, three technocrats of Meltron decided to accept this challenge and set up a Start-up company called Exmel Enterprises. Within Short time company has made huge sales & converted into EXMEL ELECTRONICA PVT LTD. These three technocrats Akshay Joshi, Sandeep Gupte and Suhas Purao who took up the Director’s role in their company Exmel are with techno Commercial background having more than 30 years of extensive experience in setting up of Studios, audio Transmission & recording system. These Directors have been instrumental in supply, installation, testing and commissioning of New Broadcasting House at New Delhi of All India Radio. Exmel with a policy of supplying quality products and impeccable service, continued to build up and grow due to tireless efforts of the Directors and adopting change with time due to its aim of adopting to latest technologies as per customer’s needs. The company diversified with addition of new products and services like RF, telecom needs, specialised cables etc to build up state of art studios, community stations, revamp of old AIR transmission lines etc. The company earned the reputation of being specialized in sourcing of hard to procure components and is now a preferred company by most of the clients due to its reliability and optimised advisory services. The company is registered in and having its Head Office in Mumbai serving clients nationwide. The Company has vast and diversified product range Viz. Audio & RF Amplifier, Recorders, mixers, switchers, various Input & Output Racks, Microphone, headphone, Modulator, Demodulator, Modem, Dish, Dehydrator, Dummy Load to small. electronics & mechanical components. Exmel has build up collaborations with reputed international firms like World Cast - France, Comtech EF Data – USA, Cibred – Italy, Deltamechanics – Italy, Videotronics, AKG, Shure & others.

Exmel also supplies Test & measuring equipments As a part of its product and services suite. Exmel is now heading towards indigenisation of various components of Studios & Transmission with latest technology from all over the world with substantial cost reduction following the Make In India Concept by manufacturing various products in India only.
