DICENTIS Hybrid Meetings Further Expands It Reach

The Dicentis Conference System 6.30 software release has enhanced the functionality of Dicentis Hybrid Meetings

The new 6.30 Dicentis Conference System software release has further improved the capabilities of the Dicentis Hybrid Meetings solution. With the latest update, a wider range of users can benefit from fully native, end-to-end hybrid conference solution as it becomes available in select countries in the Asia Pacific and African regions for the first time as well as a further expansion in Europe.

From a useability standpoint, the Dicentis Conference System 6.30 software release has further enhanced the functionality of Dicentis Hybrid Meetings. With the latest update, remote participants can now chat with a local operator for support related questions.

Expanded coverage

To date, the launch of Dicentis Hybrid Meetings has focused on the European roll out providing availability to 21 countries, and this continues under this new release with Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia and Malta all added. However, this has now been expanded to include an initial group of countries in Asia Pacific and Africa.

Four Asia Pacific countries can now benefit from the solution - Thailand, India, Australia and South Korea. Added to this are Egypt and South Africa with further countries set to be added soon.

One-on-one chat with the meeting operator

The meeting experience offered within Dicentis Hybrid Meetings has been further optimized for remote participation.

This means that the local operator (who can manage the meeting) can chat with remote participants to provide the support required. Remote participants can access the chat functionality via the Chat icon in the meeting window. From here users can directly message the meeting operator for any meeting feedback or a support-related discussion.

Incoming chat messages are easily managed by the local meeting operator using Synoptic control, providing a true single point of control. Using the new chat feature, the local meeting operator can easily communicate with remote participants without interrupting the flow of the meeting. The new chat functionality in Synoptic control requires the 6.30 software release in order to be enabled.

"We are delighted to be expanding Dicentis Hybrid Meetings into more territories around the world," said Lars van den Heuvel, Director Global Product Management Conference Systems at Bosch Security Systems. "The solution has proved to be a popular and useful tool for end users across Europe and we are certain that our customers in Asia Pacific and Africa will see the same benefits. The improved functionality within the latest update will also be a major asset to our customers and highlights the importance we place on continuous development of our solutions."
