Barco Unveils the New Generation Unisee 500 LCD Video Wall

Barco UniSee LCD video wall platform introduces smallest optical seam and almost eliminates the ‘grids’ that traditionally interrupt content shown on LCD video walls. Barco UniSee 500, answers the market demand for an LCD video wall that excels in image quality, reliability, and ease of servicing at a reduced brightness level and cost. The optimized Sense X algorithms with improved both intra-tile and overall inter-tile uniformity, ensures an unequalled viewing experience.

Barco UniSee 500 is suited for environments with frontal viewing, in corporate lobbies, television studios and meeting rooms. The built-in support for the encrypted 4K streaming content is suitable for such environments. Evidently, the traditional control rooms market will benefit from these new features as well.

The new Barco UniSee 500 comes with channel-friendly solution. It improves the ease of deployment and serviceability, making it easier for partners to get the video wall up and running after installation, and operations going on for a long time. The innovative Video wall Management Suite solution allows resellers and managed service providers to monitor and manage the complete installed base of video walls from a central location. Barco’s service portfolio has been completely renewed and allows customers and resellers alike to experience the best possible protection and optimal uptime.

The new version of Barco UniSee 500 excels in eco design and focuses on energy consumption. The video wall has simplified logistics and improved waste management. “The Barco UniSee range brings exquisite value to any environment, and the next generation Barco UniSee 500 further builds on this success story”, says Gerrit Vermeire, Director Product Management at Barco. “It offers all well-known benefits of the platform, including the innovative UniSee Mount for easy alignment, the bezel-less viewing experience and automatic color and brightness calibration system, but adds a set of additional benefits to the package. What’s more, the existing eco-system of peripheral products built around Barco UniSee, remains fully compatible with the new generation Barco UniSee 500. This includes curved mounting structures, touch overlays, trim solutions, and more.”
