HOSPITALITY STIRRING INVESTMENT INTO AV

Hospitality industry is one of the major industry segments where fast-paced digital disruption is being witnessed. According to a Meltwater report titled ‘Digital Disruption of the Hospitality Industry’, as customers increasingly expect services and processes to be available on demand and fully connected, the hospitality industry today is rapidly adapting services to be more responsive, flexible, and efficient to deliver the prolific guest experience. As per the report Asia’s hospitality sector boasts an industry growth of 4% to 5% per annum.

Indian hospitality and tourism industry too has emerged as a key industry stirring investment into AV Solutions. According to reports by IBEF (India Brand Equity Foundation), India is the most digitally-advanced traveller nation in terms of digital tools being used for planning, booking and experiencing a journey.

Digital Concierges, smart screens and touch screen displays, video conferencing facilities are today a common feature in most hotels around the country. A hotel that does not feature Digital screens and displays has become a rarity and user-friendly technology in guestrooms to create a memorable experience for guest is commonplace. Moreover, the different spaces within the hotel vis-à-vis restaurants, conference rooms, banquet areas, outdoor areas etc., each demand unique AV capabilities.
