Five new laser projectors complete Barco’s portfolio for the ProAV sector

Barco is expanding its portfolio with projectors with the new G60-series and the brighter F80s, to fulfill a broad scope of varying projection needs.

The G60s has three single-chip laser projectors, with brightness from 7K to 10K, are designed to answer the needs of day-to-day projects without compromising on the quality. In order to fit different environments, the G-series will be available in both black and white versions. Its compatibility with other Barco products increases the flexibility even more. Next to the compact format, there’s also the possibility of working with short-throw lenses, allowing the user to increase the image size or shorten the projection distance.

On top of that, each unit is equipped with the Projector Toolset software, which guarantees consistent and easy installation and maintenance. In 2017, Barco launched the F80 “silent” projectors for fixed installation in a wide range of applications such as museums, board rooms and auditoriums. Its 3D capability also fits for theme park dark rides and interactive experiences. 7,000 and 9,000-lumen versions were already available, and this year, Barco will be extending the series with two brighter options. The new F80-12Ks continue to set industry standards with 4K capabilities and low maintenance, while keeping the noise level at its lowest.

Over time, the Barco team has also optimized the blending functionalities of the F80-series. Barco Pulse’s Single Step Processing technology, users can offer their audiences a higher image quality with less latency compared to other products on the market. It also allows users to create a smooth overlap in a multi-projector display set-up.
